Cobbett Art Group
Cobbett Art Group meets at Cobbett Hub & Library on Monday afternoons and Wednesday afternoons from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
We are a friendly group and would welcome new members, either beginners or those with some experience. We do not have a tutor but help each other. We have quite a large library of our own books which can be consulted.
Drawing skills are very important, so to start off all you need is a pencil and sketch book.
We use Watercolour Paints or Acrylics and we will help you to choose the basic equipment you need to start painting if you have never painted before.
Cost is £2.00 per week whether you come once or twice, plus membership of the Group. This covers the cost of tea/coffee and a biscuit mid afternoon.
Do come and see us at work on a Monday or Wednesday and maybe join the group!
